Empire State Family Child Care Collaborative (ESFCCC)

The ESFCCC expands the reach and capacity of Staffed Family Child Care Networks across New York State by equipping participating Child Care Resource Centers to:


  • Improve participants’ financial success by providing child care management software and individualized business coaching designed to increase revenue, decrease costs, and increase access to retirement planning.
  • Enhance child care provider well-being by saving time and decreasing stress, facilitating interpersonal connections, and offering increased access to free telehealth services.

How the ESFCCC Supports Family Child Care Providers:

Financial Management Resources
  • Guidance on taxes, grants, and financial sustainability
  • A no-cost annual subscription to Child Care Management Software
  • Help with budgeting, recordkeeping, and planning
Peer Support
  • Assistance navigating regulations and business decisions

  • Connections to other family child care providers

  • Monthly network meetings

Health Resources
  • Free, confidential mental health and telehealth benefits 
  • Customizable templates, toolkits and policies designed to save providers’ time
  • One‑on‑one support from an experienced coach specializing in family child care

How to Apply:

WHO: Licensed or registered family or group-family child care providers (FDC OR GFDC) in New York State can apply to participate in the ESFCCC. *Providers in New York City should visit https://nyccrr.org/contact/ for business support.  

HOW: Providers can fill out the application at the link below. It only takes five minutes! A CCRC staff member will get in touch with applicants within three business days of applying.

FOLLOW UP: Applications are coordinated through local CCRCs. Providers can find and locate their CCRC here.

PRICE: This program is offered at no cost to qualified FDC and GFDC providers. Our goal is to help programs develop stronger business practices to stay open and be profitable.

ESFCCC is a statewide initiative funded by New York’s Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and facilitated by ECLC.
