The Early Care & Learning Council (ECLC) has launched our new website!

Our programs, mission, and advocacy efforts are just some of the highlights on our new site—we are excited for you to jump in and explore the many services that we coordinate across NY State. We have designed this new site with you, our readers, in mind. We are thrilled at how easy it is to navigate and that it spotlights the amazing work of our team and the statewide CCR&R network.

If you are new to ECLC, let us introduce ourselves! ECLC is a statewide nonprofit organization that works to support affordable, equitable, accessible child care. Our goals include increasing the supply of child care, bolstering the business development of child care programs, informing early education leaders of the important mental health initiatives with children, and maintaining a strong network across New York State to connect Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (CCR&Rs), child care programs, and families.

Our CCR&R network is established in each region of New York. CCR&Rs are crucial to connecting families with child care, providing training to child care programs, developing community connections, and more! Between the work at a statewide level with ECLC, and the regional community-based work of the CCR&Rs, we create a multilayered approach to solving some of the toughest child care issues that our New York families face.

Explore our new website to find out more about ECLC, the CCR&Rs, and our projects! Be sure to check out our statewide initiatives, including: the Infant & Toddler Project, the Infant Toddler Mental Health Consultation (ITMHC) Project, the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging (DEIB) Initiative, the Management Training Directors Institute Series, Trauma Informed Practices, and the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI).
