August Recess Action: Ask the Senate to Fund CCDBG

Last year, thanks to advocates like you, we saw the biggest increase ever for the Child Care Development Block Grant. However, much more is needed to help thousands of new children and families gain access to high-quality, affordable care:

During this year's August Congressional recess, we are calling on the U.S. Senate to meet or exceed the CCDBG funding increase put forth by the U.S. House of Representatives. This critical funding will continue to assist states, providers, and parents to ensure young children are in healthy, thriving learning environments that will help them prepare school and succeed later in life.

To make this happen, we need your help! Contact your senators today to ask them to support an increase in CCDBG funding.

If you work for a CCR&R, make sure to tell your senators how you use CCDBG funding and the impact of a funding increase for children and families in your state.
