Serving St. Lawrence County since 1984, the St. Lawrence Child Care Council is a trusted CCRC that connects families to licensed child care options and supports providers in offering safe, developmentally appropriate environments. Families receive free, personalized referrals and guidance on choosing quality care, applying for child care subsidies, and understanding early childhood development. For providers, the CCRC offers pre-licensing support, health and safety training, technical assistance, and access to ongoing professional development. The Council also participates in statewide quality initiatives and works closely with schools, health departments, and human service agencies to strengthen the child care infrastructure in Northern New York.
