Serving Tompkins and Cortland counties, the Child Development Council has been a trusted CCRC since 1968, supporting families and child care providers through a range of comprehensive services. Families receive personalized child care referrals, guidance on accessing subsidies, and education on selecting quality care. The CCRC also offers developmental screenings and family support programs, including housing assistance and parenting resources. For providers, the Council provides help with licensing, health and safety training, program development, and professional growth opportunities. Through advocacy and direct support, the Council works to build strong, stable families and a responsive, well-equipped early childhood workforce in the region.
