Child Care Council, Inc., a CCRC serving Monroe, Livingston, and Wayne counties, has been supporting families and providers since 1972. It is one of the largest CCRCs in the state, offering families free, confidential referrals to regulated child care providers, plus help understanding subsidy eligibility and identifying quality care. Providers receive comprehensive support, including licensing assistance, health and safety training, CDA credentialing courses, and business development resources. The Council also provides technical assistance, a repurposed materials store, and a professional library, and it leads local advocacy efforts to expand access to quality early learning. Their inclusion support and mental health consultation programs further demonstrate their commitment to equity and family well-being.
