Serving Nassau County since 1972, the Child Care Council of Nassau provides families with personalized referrals, child care education, and help navigating subsidy programs. Its CCRC services for providers include licensing and regulatory assistance, CPR/first aid and health and safety training, CDA credentialing, and business development support. The Council also administers CACFP and promotes inclusive practices through targeted support for providers serving children with special needs. Through collaboration with businesses, schools, and policymakers, the Council champions early childhood education as a foundation for strong families and communities in suburban Long Island.
