Training-for-Trainers on the Inclusion of Infants and Toddlers with Disabilities: Collaboration and Coordination for Comprehensive Services

This interactive session will equip trainers with the information, strategies, and materials to increase child care providers’ knowledge of inclusion. Peer-to-peer interaction and activities will create opportunities to highlight successes, challenges, and discuss strategies, and resources for overcoming challenges to inclusion. The importance of collaboration and coordination between Early Intervention services and child care for comprehensive services will be emphasized. Resources to support optimal inclusion of children with disabilities in early childhood education will be shared to strengthen inclusive practices and systems of support for children and families.
